Remnants

The Yerba Buena chapter area once consisted of great sand dunes, ancient oaks, bay laurel woodlots, grassy hilltops, wet meadows and coastal chaparral. If you were around 200 years ago you could encounter elk, jackrabbits and the now extinct Xerxes blue butterfly.
