The California Native Plant Society (CNPS) is the premier native plant advocacy group in California. From a headquarters located in Sacramento staffed with many talented native plant experts and scientists, CNPS coordinates the efforts of thirty-five volunteer chapters across the state to promote the values and mission of CNPS.
CNPS Yerba Buena Chapter is one of the oldest and most active CNPS chapters and focuses their work on San Francisco County and northern San Mateo County.
When you’re a CNPS member, you help to preserve and protect California’s native plants and places for generations to come. Members receive many benefits including free subscriptions to CNPS publications, access to fun activities, discounts, and more.
When you join CNPS, select YERBA BUENA CHAPTER as your home chapter to receive further benefits such as the quarterly Yerba Buena News and access to chapter events.
